KBR Technology is focused on the monetization of hydrocarbons in refining, olefins, chemicals, ammonia and fertilizer, evaporation and crystallization, acid treatment, automation technologies, etc.
  • In ammonia technology, KBR has been involved in the licensing, design, engineering, and/or construction of more than 230 grass roots ammonia plants and over 100 revamp ammonia projects globally.
  • In refining technology, our experience as a technology developer and licensor, along with our comprehensive studies and proven project delivery capabilities, has resulted in KBR licensing, designing or constructing more than 60 greenfield refineries and well over 1,000 refining units of every type and size the world over.
  • KBR has been a leader in olefin plant design, construction and technology development for more than 50 years. Since 1990, over 20 new ethylene plants with a combined capacity of 13 million metric tons per year have been brought on-stream using KBR’s cost-effective, cracking technologies and flexible plant designs to produce ethylene, propylene and other byproducts from a variety of feedstocks.
  • Through KBR Ecoplanning Oy and PLINKE GmbH, KBR offers unique and superior technologies for crystallization and evaporation, as well as concentration and purification of strong inorganic acids.
