With capital investment of 40 Millom SAR, GCC lab localized the most advanced and sophisticated Renewable lab in the Middle East and North Africa to provide local (GCC region) Type, routine, specialized and functional testing. In addition to the R&D and failure Investigation. The lab introduced to the operation since April 2019 with Saudi workforces who are trained and certified in the field of testing and analysis. This project will enable & expedite the manufacturing of Solar PV panels in the GCC region, reduce the transportation cost and time required to perform the testing. It was established by the Joint Venture Company between GCC Lab and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) named Gulf Renewable Lab (GRL).
The lab located in KSA-Dammam-Third Industrial City with 7,000 sq.m. The renewable energy lab is part of GCC Lab mega project that consist of 30 laboratories in different fields. Gulf Renewable Lab Co. scope covering the solar systems testing, green energy services including environmental studies, solar and wind bankability studies for investors, renewable projects qualification advisory and consultancy services.
